About the role

Responsibilities:Electrical Design: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects. This includes schematic design, circuit analysis, and layout design using CAD software.Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis and calculations to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems. Assist in performing load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit analysis.Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with senior engineers to build prototypes and test electrical components and systems. Participate in testing activities, collect data, and analyze results to validate design specifications.Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to communicate design concepts and requirements effectively. Maintain accurate records of design changes, revisions, and project documentation.Project Support: Provide support to senior engineers and project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing electrical engineering projects. Assist in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.Code Compliance: Ensure electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as NEC, IEEE, and local building codes. Stay updated on code changes and participate in code review activities.Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and resolving technical challenges during project implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Professional Development: Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of electrical engineering. Pursue opportunities for professional development, such as attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Strong academic background with coursework in electrical circuits, power systems, and electronics.Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, standards, and codes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment.
