The school is a true community success story that has transformed the lives of thousands of students and their families, while breathing life back into a city that was once one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant manufacturing suburbs.&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary:<br><br></strong>The Student Support Service employee supports the day-to-day operational functions of the Student Code of Conduct, ensures disciplinary policies are followed, assists with school-based behavior modification systems and initiatives, and aids in morning admission, afternoon dismissal, and lunch periods for the school.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Works in conjunction with the Dean of Students to promote and maintain a positive culture and climate in the specified school</li> <li>Coordinates the efforts of all relevant team members in the school</li> <li>Receives referrals and confers with students, parents, and teachers to help meet the needs of struggling students</li> <li>Supervises students on campus before and after school; monitors students during lunch</li> <li>Instructs students in appropriate behavior</li> <li>Facilitates and maintains systematic processes and procedures for student conduct and social behavior</li> <li>Facilitates conferences with stakeholders including but not limited to the following; parents, staff (regarding student progress), outside agencies, and students</li> <li>Researches and presents alternative means, new ideas, and different approaches to aid in achieving student success</li> <li>Possesses fluent knowledge of the school’s behavioral database system and ensures the accuracy of disciplinary records</li> <li>Maintains accurate records including all school-based behavior modification systems</li> <li>Assists teachers to better understand and work more effectively with students having school-related concerns including but not limited to; academic, behavioral, social, and emotional</li> <li>Assists with facilitating admission and dismissal process and procedure</li> <li>Assists with facilitating after-school events and activities sponsored by the school</li> <li>Pushes into classroom, assisting teachers with classroom management</li> <li>Pulls out of classroom, offering direct behavior interventions</li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma</li> <l
