Our Design teams chase their curiosities and build what’s next. As our Jordan Design Operations Lead, Apparel - Streetwear, you will be an integral part of the Jordan Operations and Design teams; helping to take our product to the next level!

The Jordan Apparel Design Operations Lead will be the operational connective hub between multiple apparel design functions along with apparel product partners, with a focus on our streetwear line. They’ll drive clarity and efficiency, evolve our end-to-end process, and manage calendars and competing priorities. Their operational thought leadership will foster a collaborative space and provide clarity for our senior leadership teams and working teams, so all are enabled to meet shared goals.

The Jordan Apparel Design Operations Lead will also ensure we have the right tools and resources to enable an impactful design team with functional expertise. With multiple seasonal workstreams overlapping simultaneously, they are capable of focusing upstream on longer term planning while actively problem-solving tactical issues in the day-to-day.

This role is best suited for a self-starter with great organizational and communication skills, who is comfortable navigating ambiguity to build complex processes in a fast-paced environment. Our best Operations leaders are strategic problem solvers and excellent communicators. They aren’t afraid to ask questions, and they demonstrate their understanding of how our apparel design teams work by proposing improved workflows, with the designer experience at the center.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This is an opportunity to partner on workstreams spanning our lifestyle product offerings across apparel and accessories products for men, women, and even connectivity to our kids team.

You will manage seasonal design calendars; leading process creation and optimization for design-owned workstreams, while partnering closely with the product operations teams to deliver against product timelines.

On any given day, you will conduct workshops or meetings to gather insights and help define clear expectations, tools, and processes that drive creative collaboration across apparel, color, and graphic design teams.

You will connect directly with design teams to encourage creative collaboration, while ensuring designers have the right tools at the right time, and understand what designers need to work more efficiently and effectively.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report directly to the Apparel Design Operations Director of Excellence. You will partner with the design operations team and the broader Jordan operations organization. You will partner closely with the VP/Creative Director of Jordan Streetwear, Apparel Design Directors, and Apparel Designers, as well as the entire product creation matrix including Product Operations partners, Development partners, Product Management and Merchandising partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

• 5-7 years demonstrated work experience in operations, project management, consulting, design, product, or other creative function.

• Passion for process excellence; unlocking innovation, collaboration, and improving efficiencies.

• Consistent record of leading, planning, organizing, prioritizing and implementing simultaneous creative projects and activities across various teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with others in a matrix environment and develop consensus within diverse groups and with people at all levels within the organization.

• Ability to problem solve and focus on both the big picture and the details.

• Proficiency in building collaborative calendars and processes, with experience in Miro, Keynote/Powerpoint, Smartsheets, Airtable, or other project management software tools preferred.
