About the role

In this role, you will source new suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships with existing ones to ensure maximum value and reduced risk. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and managing the procurement schedule, conducting bid analysis, processing purchase orders, resolving invoice queries, and preparing regular reports on purchasing activities. You’ll collaborate with various teams to streamline procurement processes, identify improvement opportunities, contribute to cost savings through competitive bidding, and develop procurement relationships to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

- Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers

- Negotiating and maintaining supplier relationships

- Reviewing and managing procurement schedules

- Conducting bid analysis and processing purchase orders

- Resolving invoice queries and preparing reports

- Collaborating with teams for process improvement

- Developing cost-saving strategies through bidding and market analysis

Requirements

What we're looking for

We seek a strategic thinker with experience in procurement, ideally within pharmaceuticals or life sciences. Candidates must possess:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields

- Fluency in both English and Dutch

- Advanced service level delivery with strategic initiative execution

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Robust analytical skills

- Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

- Familiarity with the regulatory environment in the pharmaceutical industry

- Organizational prowess and multitasking ability
