Your role in our mission

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs.
• Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.
• Gathers information from the system, analyzes program and time requirements, and prepares documentation to change existing programs.
• Researches and analyzes existing systems and program requirements.
• Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
• Head up workstreams to design, develop, test and install complex applications software that spans server, client and web components
• Help guide closer connections between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are accurate and deliver a solid ROI for clients
• Show your skill at writing highly complex design, coding and testing documentation to create a technical product that meets client expectations
• Perform vital development, domain, application design, web service and database methodologies, and best practices provided by the project advisor and/or architect​
• Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects — from modifying existing apps to designing new application modules and components

What we're looking for

 

• 6+ years of applications design, development, source control, and batch programming in C, UNIX/LINUX and SQL
• Desired experience in any of the following: PL/1, Java, C++, C#, VB.Net., IWS
• Linux software development frameworks (GNU tool chain, VI, VIM)
• Oracle database (PL-SQL)
• Healthcare IT Systems (Medicaid, Medicare, Claims, other)   

What you should expect in this role

 

• Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
• On-call to monitor batch cycles and resolve job abends
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
