Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to oversee monthly and quarterly reporting needs, ensuring that Service Delivery Managers have a clear financial overview.
This role will be responsible for forecasting operational workforce demand, actual vs. forecast analysis, purchase order (PO) burn rates, and assessing the financial impact of attrition against the use of overtime hours.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in driving financial insights, improving cost efficiencies, and supporting business decisions through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee monthly and quarterly financial forecast reporting, providing key insights to Service Delivery Managers
- Conduct forecast vs. actual variance gap analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Monitor and analyze PO burn rates, ensuring sufficient funds against client PO service lines
- Assess the financial impact of attrition on regular billing amounts, factoring in the use of overtime hours by operational teams
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Lead the financial forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with operational teams to refine workforce-related financial models
- Identify risks and opportunities in financial forecasts and recommend mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Service Delivery Managers and BI teams to enhance financial performance visibility
- Act as a financial advisor, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
- Present key financial findings and recommendations to leadership
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and customer data sensitivity
- Improve financial monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time data tracking
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, preferably in a service-based or operations-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Proficiency in Excel and Tableau
- Experience working directly with Service Delivery Managers or operational teams is a plus
