The Senior Manager, Strategy  (in the Corporate Development & Sustainability Team) plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by leading strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across our diverse portfolio of outdoor environment solutions. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong analytical mindset, deep industry insight, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment. Work Location: 

• Flexibility with rapidly changing schedules, deadlines, and other work requirements is required.  

• The anticipated work location is in Bloomington, MN Toro's International Corporate Headquarters.   Fully remote is not available at this time.  (Current internal candidates who are already working at alternate TTC locations may be considered). 

• The current team works 5-days on campus in Bloomington, MN.  

• This role includes travel 15% (both domestic and international) with related expense reporting duties.    Occasional travel, however anticipated needs could involve less than 24 hours' notice to be dispatched.

Strategic Planning & Execution: 

• Lead the development and execution of long-term strategic plans aligned with corporate goals across turf, landscape, snow and ice, utility construction, and rental sectors.

• Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, assess market trends, and prioritize strategic initiatives.

• Facilitate annual strategic planning processes and ensure alignment across business units.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.

• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments across global markets.

Innovation & Business Transformation:

• Identify and evaluate new business models, technologies, and partnerships that enhance customer value and operational efficiency.

• Drive initiatives related to sustainability, digital transformation, and product innovation.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and execution.

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects and strategic pilots.

M&A and Strategic Investments:

• Support M&A activities including target identification, due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger execution.
