As a Lead Teller (Lead Front Line Associate), you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day store operations. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the store's success by guiding team members, ensuring smooth financial transactions, and maintaining a strong compliance culture. You’ll lead by example, assist in training and developing staff, oversee cash handling and remittance processes, and help implement business and marketing strategies to drive store performance.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment, ensuring a positive guest experience in line with company standards.
  • Uphold loss prevention protocols, strictly adhering to company policies and store standards.
  • Train, mentor, and provide ongoing support to Tellers and Senior Tellers.
  • Review and accurately process money transfer transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement strong security measures to safeguard company funds and maintain financial integrity.
  • Reconcile daily store transactions, including money transfers and cash balances.
  • Create and manage Teller and Senior Teller schedules to ensure consistent and efficient store coverage.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of localized marketing initiatives and business strategies.
  • Act as the operational lead and subject matter expert, ensuring seamless store performance.

Role Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Teller or in a related financial services role.
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong communication and interpersonal skills in both languages required.
  • Proven track record in customer service and handling financial transactions.
  • Experience working in a client-facing position providing excellent customer service support and timely and accurate updates to customers regarding the status of their orders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with general computer applications.
  • Experience working within compliance standards, following standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to open and close store locations and provide leadership oversite to other Tellers.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. AML Certification is a plus.
  • Candidates must be comfortable using their own personal mobile with reliable service, for work-related communication, as needed.

Salary:

The hourly rate is $23.50 per hour.
