Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will help innovate an all-new and original IP to revolutionize a genre for players around the world.

What you’ll get to do:

• Implement game features on the server and client side

• Support the live service, including through rotating on-call shifts, as we prepare for launch and beyond

• Game performance optimization for server and client

• Integrating with third-party services

• Database design

• Tools related to game development and operations

Requirements:

What we are looking for:

• Experience in shipping a AAA game

• Proficiency in GoLang/C++ and C#

• Track record in implementing major features or solving major problems as the main contributor

• Experience with common backend technology stack like Mongo DB, Kubernetes, Docker

• Experience with public cloud, distributed systems, and client/server architecture

• Understanding and experience working with low-level network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP

Pluses:

• 5+ years experience in the game industry

• Experience working with Unity3D or Unreal

• A degree related to engineering or science

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $92,400 to $255,600 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
