About the role

About Iris

Iris is redefining camera control and video automation for the next generation of creators, broadcasters, and AV professionals. Our platform connects directly to cameras and AV systems over IP—enabling powerful remote control, AI-powered automation, and seamless cloud integration. We partner with OEMs across the industry to embed Iris directly into their hardware and software stacks, powering the future of video.

The Role

We're hiring a technical Integration Engineer to manage post-sale integrations with OEM partners. You’ll lead the technical onboarding of new partners, guide them through integrating Iris binaries and SDKs, and manage the full lifecycle from kick-off through testing and certification.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and partner success. You’ll act as the technical face of Iris for each OEM, supporting their engineering teams, answering implementation questions, and ensuring a successful integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Onboarding: Serve as the primary post-sale technical contact for OEMs, owning integration from first call through certification.

  • Guide Implementation: Help OEM engineering teams integrate Iris binaries, SDKs, APIs, and services into their platforms.

  • Manage Integration Projects: Set milestones, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional resources to keep integrations on track.

  • Coordinate Testing: Own the joint testing process, including validation, certification, and issue resolution of Iris Enabled devices.

  • Document and Deliver: Provide OEMs with detailed integration guides, testing plans, and certification checklists.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering to improve the integration experience and collect feedback from the field.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in solutions engineering, embedded systems, or technical integration roles

  • Experience working directly with OEMs, hardware partners, or B2B technical stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of SDK integration, system-level debugging, and device communications

  • Familiarity with AV protocols like NDI, VISCA, Dante, RTSP, or UVC

  • Experience working with AV hardware, camera systems, or embedded platforms

  • Strong project management and communication skills—you can lead technical engagements with clarity and confidence

  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience in video production, live streaming, or pro AV

  • Background in camera firmware, control protocols, IOT, or cloud-to-device communication
