As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of HR duties, including onboarding, background checks, offboarding, HR projects, compliance, and training and development. You will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters and will work closely with all departments to ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new hires
- Conduct orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Process background checks for all new employees
- Manage HR inbox communications, including addressing employee concerns, managing conflicts, and responding timely to concerns
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with implementing employee training and development programs, when necessary
- Maintain accurate HR records and files
- Assist with HR-related projects as needed
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on background checks, new hire orientation,
- and onboarding
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
