About the Role:

The Finance Data Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining source-of-truth data systems for Finance Products. We take hundreds of state change events per transaction and transform them into usable data for finance systems. We stand as the frontline representatives for Finance Product systems, developing reusable contracts with our upstream system partners and best practices for data consumption downstream. You will report to the Finance Data Platform Engineering Manager.

You Will:

• Work side-by-side with the FDP Product manager and engineers from all Finance Product teams

• Write algorithms to process complex large volumes of data with to-the-cent accuracy

• Prioritize the security, maintainability and availability of the Finance Engineering systems

You Have:

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

• 2+ years of experience shipping high-quality products

• Comfortable building, shipping, and maintaining services and systems

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages like Java, JavaScript, Go, PHP, Python, Kotlin, C# or Ruby

• Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

• Interest in learning and applying security and infrastructure best practices

• Interest in learning and applying knowledge of infrastructure tools and systems

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,710- $135,495. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
