Senior Full Stack Engineer

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help grow and maintain our products and business essential software tools by ensuring scalability. The main qualifications for this position are experience in Python, Django, Docker, and PostgreSQL. Secondary are React, Node.js, AWS, and AWS services.  This position is 100% remote.

Bitcoin Depot is the largest Bitcoin ATM Network in the world offering users the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin at thousands of BTM and BDCheckout locations.

 Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement future projects
• Maintain, add features, and improve (refactor/document) our current software projects
• Clearly communicate timelines, delivery order and options to non-technical management
• Act as part of a team of Developers and collaborate with technology teams

Required Qualifications 

• Python
• Django
• Relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Google)
• Docker/Containers
• Full Stack (Frontend, Backend, Database)
• AWS EC2 and AWS Services 
• Node.js and Typescript
• Experience building RESTful backend micro services using Node.js and Express

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience creating responsive, resilient software products
• Demonstrated experience knowing when to make surgical improvements to software vs. recommending large scale change
• Must ensure what is developed is testable and also unit-tested
• Experience refactoring, improving and reviewing existing code and adding improvements
• Experience working in quality, Continuous Delivery
• Experience in building alongside Quality Assurance teams, providing  Technical Documentation, and Testing Approaches
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
