Job Description

The Sales Readiness team EMEA-APAC performs a critical function in the success of Experian, with the goal to bring transformational change to our sales organizations. The Sales Readiness team working alongside the individual markets in the region has responsibility for ensuring all sales personnel across multiple business lines have the knowledge, methodologies, and tools to be a success in their role.

We provide sales professionals with sales methodologies and tailored training to match their value based selling needs and support them further with a series of assessments or “Accreditation” exercises across a targeted product set. Sales Readiness is about making sure our people succeed.

Experian are investing heavily in skills development and sales methodologies for our sales force which is why we are recruiting a Skills Development Manager. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a fast-developing team that is seen as a key contributor to the organization’s growth and success. The role of Skills Development Manager will be focused on introducing, managing, reporting, and driving adoption of a new sales methodology across multiple markets in the EMEA-APAC region.

The Skills Development Manager is responsible for end-to-end program management of rolling out a new sales methodology to the organization. The Skills Development Manager will be working with multiple sales and business leaders across the EMEA-APAC markets to support the adoption of the program. They will also be responsible for the vendor management with the external methodology provider as well as internal stakeholder management..

The suitable candidate must demonstrate skills in relationship management, project management as well as excellent organization skills. The Skills Development Manager is highly collaborative, analytical and data driven, ideally experienced in working in an enterprise multinational environment. Experience with sales methodologies such as KornFerry Sell (formerly Miller Heiman) or similar would be an advantage.

Finally, the Skills Development Manager is in a unique position to contribute to shaping the entire program structure, see the delivery through, measure the success and maintain excellence for over 400 sales professionals on their selling journey.

What you’ll be Accountable for

  • Working with and creating relationships with multiple sales and business leaders across the EMEA-APAC markets to roll out various Sales Readiness Programs.
  • Liaising with service provider/s and managing the vendor relationship, including budget, and providing proactive regular reports to management.
  • Following closely Program adoption and identifying early potential issues or challenges.
  • Creating value-added reports and analysis to demonstrate Program adoption and success.

How will we measure your success?

  • Achieving in-year agreed KPI’s typically based on achieving numerical targets with regards to program adoption – sessions conducted, number of people trained etc.
  • Achieving in-year agreed KPI’s on the knowledge growth of the sales teams based on the Enablement framework metrics.

Experience

  • Significant experience in a sales environment, preferably within an enterprise company.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Vendor management – build and maintain a relationship with the provider, manage the budget side of the partnership.
  • Broad sales and business knowledge, including solid understanding of financial principles, business case justification, and key performance indicators.
  • Data processing and analytical abilities and experience in defining and reporting against KPIs.
