The Manager, Patient Services & Support will assist the Patient Access team on the daily responsibilities required to develop and lead Teva’s Field Reimbursement Program. This role will impact proper team structure, coordinate new hire onboarding and training, facilitate collaboration between internal stake holders, including: the FRM program, sales teams, hub support programs, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities encompass - analyzing KPIs and SLA (service level agreement) metrics and trends, collaborating and communicating with cross functional partners on program updates and creative initiatives, meeting with venders to drive continuous improvement with FRM program, oversee the creative process for FRM materials including driving promotional assets through both Teva and Vender(when appropriate) medical / legal review processes, and engaging with the finance team on program invoice management.
How you’ll spend your day
- Tracks field activities using the CRM system and system reports to ensure timely reporting to stakeholders and feedback to venders
- Documents processes for all aspects of the FRM program and seek and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the patient access programs
- Hosts meetings, calls, and periodic business reviews with internal and external contributors and stakeholders to review performance data.
- Collaborates with Teva’s CT&D (Commercial Training & Development) team to coordinate new hire activities and ongoing team educational needs
- Consolidates and structures data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
- Identify and implement process improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.
- Builds presentations to accurately reflect business performance stories and presents findings to peers and senior leadership.
- Tracks financial health of program and ensure timely submissions of vender invoices
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of five years in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. operations management, analytics, or a related role) required
- Experience in Field Reimbursement preferred
- Proficiency in presenting operational performance metrics to senior leadership combining outputs from visual analytics platforms and Microsoft PowerPoint required
- Intermediate level experience with Excel (formulas, pivot tables and V look-ups) is required
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Technical skill in using Excel and Tableau or Power BI to analyze trends and create presentations from this data
- Firm process knowledge of Patient Journey especially the patient access barriers and burdens caused by the prior authorization process is required
- Firm understanding of healthcare reimbursement criteria of the pharmacy and medical benefit where applicable for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid insurance
- Ability to analyze data from different sources and develop a business case based on assumptions
- Ability to establish trusting working relationships with internal and external partners
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams and be very flexible to prioritize, then reprioritize due to competing needs
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 30% travel throughout the US, which may include weekend and overnight trips
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,500 – 131,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
