JOB TITLE:   Production Technician                                                    

LOCATION:    Amelia, Ohio                  

REPORTS TO: Plant Manager                                     

SHIFT: 4/4 Night Shift

 

 

Position Requirements 

 

• Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.  

• Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured 

• Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment 

• Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly 

• Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow 

• Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements 

 

• Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements 

• Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules 

• Completion of cyber security modules, and any other company mandated training requirements 

• Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership. 

• Communicates required information in all phases of production processes including but not limited to interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, human resource if necessary 

• Includes both verbal and written communications. 

• Operates material handling equipment including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts. 

• Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoning skills, mathematical skills, and physical skills 

• . Other duties as assigned. 

 

Education                                                                                         

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent 

• Associates Degree a Plus 

 

Certifications/Training 

• Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.  

• Good verbal and written communication skills.   

• Basic skills in MS Office software; basic math skills
