This is an active, hands-on position in a rugged mountain environment. Work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions including cold, wind, snow, and ice. You must be comfortable working at night, on steep and uneven terrain, and in proximity to high-pressure water and air systems. The role also includes administrative duties such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory management, which may be performed in an office setting.

During the winter, snowmaking operates 24/7, and managers are expected to be available for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed. In the off-season, the schedule becomes more project-focused with a standard daytime schedule and some flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of snowmaking experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management capacity.

  • Strong working knowledge of air/water and fan-based snowmaking systems.
