CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is $22-24/hr. The benefit includes eligibility to participate in 1 of 3 different BCBS of IL medical plans, Dental (SunLife) Vision (EyeMed), Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) with a generous 6% match on a 6% contribution, 11 Paid Holidays, 5 paid Sick Days (based on a full year of employment. Vacation time accruals. 

Job Title–Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable staff member is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, Company credit card transactions, and other disbursements while maintaining compliance with internal controls, company policies, and industry regulations.

Essential Job Function 

1. Process vendor invoices and Company credit card transactions for materials, supplies, and services, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

2. Verify purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoice terms prior to entry and payment.

3. Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

1. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as Accounts Payable staff. 

2. HS Diploma required, Associates or College level General Accounting education a plus

3. Experience with automated financial systems software; Microsoft D365 and ExFlow a plus
