Senior Software Engineer

The responsibilities of this job covers most lithographic process simulation and optimization development, includes but is not limited to mask optimization algorithm, geometry operations, effective full field layout handling, customer specific process requirement, etc. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.

Role and responsibilities

· Be responsible to turn general requirement definitions into functioning modules.

· Develop and test the algorithms independently.

· Maintain the current code base and support customer escalations.

· Analyze and improve software performance and efficiency.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

· PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related areas.

· 2+ years of relevant experience in C/C++ and / or other object-oriented software development.

· Solid understanding in data structures and algorithms.

· Professional understanding and experience on C/C++ language and basic libraries.

· Experience in developing and debugging multi-threaded / parallel applications.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong problem solving capabilities.

· Familiar with SQL, UNIX environment and scripting languages.

· Experience in image processing, computational geometry, large data application, high performance computing and scientific simulation is a good plus.

· Knowledge in semiconductor lithography and IC design is a good plus

Other Responsibilities  

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

• May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$145,500-242,500

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
