OnsiteCollins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Principal Technical Project Manager – Secure Systems to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA.
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team focused on developing next-generation Cryptographic Systems. This role plays a key part in advancing technologies from early-stage concepts (low TRL) through accreditation and full-scale production.

What You will do:
- Work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals while managing Cryptographic product development efforts, helping to provide security enabled solutions to our channel facing partners.
- Interact and interface with External Customers
- Participate in the systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- Manage Program Schedule and Cost Performance (SPI / CPI) for a medium sized program, and help generate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Collaborate across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestones
- Facilitate customer demonstration events and program reviews both onsite and offsite
- Lead bid and proposal efforts
- Present technical and program data to customers and executive leadership
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience laws/regulations.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong Preference for current DoD Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership
- Experienced with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design, Network Encryption specifications and test methodologies
- Experienced with the NSA Certification process
