As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Finance team. You will leverage your analytical and collaboration skills to provide insights that guide decision-making across the organization. We are seeking candidates who are adept at financial modeling and analysis and possess a natural curiosity to explore the "why" behind the numbers. Your ability to work collaboratively within teams and across different departments will be essential in driving our strategy and financial future forward.  

   

Key Responsibilities:    

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions, specifically with regards to owning revenue and marketing forecasting for all company business lines  

• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast expenses and cash flow.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on financial objectives, such building the annual budget with department heads and Canto executives.  

• Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards, such as monthly Budget vs Actuals and Quarterly Reforecast reporting, to senior management, highlighting key trends and actionable insights. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvements; create and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to increase efficiency and accuracy.  

• Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring not only accuracy and alignment with strategic goals but also providing opinions and potential solutions to operational challenges affecting the financials  

• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.  

   

Qualifications: 

Required:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA or CFA desirable.   

• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance  

• Experience working in or covering SaaS businesses 

• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel  

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to show analyses in digestible and when needed, influential ways for executives and senior leaders  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail  

• Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams and across organizations to drive results  

• Experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive Insights, Anaplan), ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi, Looker)  

• Experience working at PE-backed or VC-backed companies  

• M&A experience desired.
