Description

The Branch Director oversees all operations at the assigned site, providing leadership and accountability for branch management, staff supervision, facility and fleet oversight, safety, and administrative compliance. This role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality programs and services designed to positively impact the lives of youth. Programs are intentionally structured to produce measurable and progressive outcomes that support individual growth and success. Within the branch, youth are served in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment by staff who are deeply committed to the organization’s mission. The Club experience is centered on achieving three core outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES


Leadership:

  • Serve as a competent, credible leader others choose to follow.
  • Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy, outlining how goals will be achieved.
  • Execute strategic plans and consistently achieve organizational and Youth Development outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leadership and management on personnel matters and organizational priorities.

Branch Operations:

  • Oversee all branch operations across the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and effective environments.
    Manage operational performance to achieve established goals.
  • Maintain accountability for membership revenue and program fees.
  • Coordinate budget development; monitor revenues and expenditures; report and address variances.
  • Oversee administrative and operational processes

Program oversight:

  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of programs, services, and activities that support Youth Development outcomes.
  • Provide leadership for branch programming in all areas of the facility.
  • Ensure program quality and consistency across all program areas.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness based on participation data and achievement of stated goals.
  • Recommend and implement program modifications to improve performance and outcomes.

Staff Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and evaluate staff performance to ensure achievement of operational and program goals.
  • Coach staff to improve performance, solve problems, and support career growth.
  • Provide technical assistance in program design, development, community relations, and operations.
  • Plan and implement staff development and training programs to build capacity and leadership.

Partnerships:

  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with youth-serving organizations, schools, families, members, parents, and community stakeholders.
  • Participate in marketing, outreach, and public relations activities to promote programs, services, and organizational impact.

Administrative Compliance:

  • Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time.
  • Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs
  • Accountable for accurate and timely collection and review of membership applications
  • Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls
  • Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry
  • Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively

Facility & Child Safety:

  • Accountable for adherence to all organizational health and safety policies and implementation of all safety practices and procedures at assigned work location(s)
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect members, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities. Abide by facility maintenance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Accountable for reporting incidents and completing documentation within the required timeline
  • Maintain discipline, de-escalate conflict between members and/or others
  • Obtain and renew CPR and First Aid certification by the deadline

  • Be a positive role model
  • Maintain emotional control and make good decisions under pressure
  • Represent the Boys & Girls Club in a positive manner

Attendance:

  • Regular attendance is required; arrive on time; punctuality is required

Nonessential Duties:

  • Complete all other duties as assigned
