Your key responsibilities:

Projects:

•    Should have Planning and organizational ability.
•    Should have ability to manage projects, budgets and people.
•    He/she coordinates the 5-10 years Capex budget according business needs and long-term asset planning
•    He/she manage projects portfolio, Capex and Opex budget follow-up and responsible for data accuracy
•    He/she ensure a good alignment and efficient teamwork with Engineering Group and stakeholders
•    He/she optimize partnerships and contracts with contracting companies
•    He/she supports the internal clients of the project. He/she partners with Project Owner and leads project team members in their project tasks to assure the project expected delivery in full.
•    From INITIATION until CLOSING phases, he/she manages daily project activities scrupulously aligned with Project Management methodology at Firmenich and applies engineering standards when applicable and existing.
•    He/she permanently anticipates risk of deviations of the project and develop mitigation scenarios.
•    He/she monitors, reports and escalates projects progress with transparency and accuracy.
•    He/she assess/challenge customer needs and continuously looking for value for money, optimal schedule, scope match and highest HSE conditions for end-users and project contractors.
•    He/she is an active member and promoter of his/her projects and of the engineering community.He/she ensure a good alignment and efficient teamwork with Engineering Group and stakeholders
Maintenance:

•    Responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance rotating and statics equipment,
•    Owner of the maintenance budget
•    Ensure that planning and scheduling process are in place and ensure proper shutdown management preparation and execution
•    Monitor actual performance versus the targets, analysing and solving performance gaps and strives for continuous improvement..
•    Translates the improvement steps into business value and communicates the role of maintenance as a value adding process instead of a cost centre.
•    Ensure proper development of reliability engineering strategy and deployment into SAP PM.
•    Responsible of the maintenance warehouse and the replenishment strategy
•    Responsible for employee performance and ensure competences development of the team. Define training requirement and coach subordinates.
•    Develops and evaluates the local maintenance outsourcing strategy
•    Support evaluation of new equipment (mechanical and instrumentation) able to  improve operation, process efficiency and reduced downtime.
•    Lead or participate root cause failure analysis and resolution of important technical problems.
•    Propose estimate and execute investments required for the site base on the asset condition.

•    Zero TRC
•    Project completion on time, scope in full and cost within budget and spent planned adherence
•    Maintenance within budget with focus on Reliability Engg. & SAP to reduce maintenance cost

You Bring: Requires Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimim 20 years of experience in project execution with hands-on experience in maintenance in chemical industry with at least 3  years in a similar position. Master in problem solving, budget control, planning, management of change and risk analysis, technical specifications, contracting, detailed and executive reporting. Good at all engineering disciplines and technology, can challenge/question experts. Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office programs especially MS Word, Excel & Power Point. He/she ensures fact based, impartial and ethical decisions. Sound knowledge of equipment, instruments and electricals in a chemical plant and civil construction. Hands-on experience of SAP PM and Reliability tools and Predictive Maintenance.
