SUMMARY
Bering Straits Professional Services (BSPS), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant for a contract in Richmond, VA. We are currently seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant for employment at DLA Aviation, Richmond, Virginia.
This individual will provide services critical to the performance and efficient execution of support agreements and the G-Invoicing program by providing operational, planning, administrative, financial, and project support services, which facilitates the day-to-day operation of the Command Programs Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage an agreements database and execute administrative functions in support of DLA Aviation’s Support Agreement Manager (SAM) and Functional POCs.
- Must be able to independently complete assignments and assist with other duties, as assigned, to provide services to government employees in a wide variety of professional, administrative, and clerical areas while providing management support to a variety of special projects efforts.
- Assist DLA Aviation to efficiently manage Intragovernmental buy/sell transactions between federal agencies by creating support agreements as required by policies developed by DLA.
- Must be capable of monitoring suspense dates and deliverables, review finished work for technical soundness, appropriateness, and conformity to policy and requirements.
- Create briefings, display proficiency in financial reporting, and answer actions related to support agreements and G-Invoicing.
- Must be able to effectively use customer service skills, keen attention to detail and capable of providing status updates to senior leadership.
- Participate in support agreement meetings and G-Invoicing working groups.
- Provide support reviewing and updating policies, processes and procedures.
- Will be responsible for carrying out necessary tasks associated with day-to-day activities involving records management and file/record keeping.
- Attend in-person and Microsoft Teams meetings to discuss policies and procedures.
- Must be proficient working in an MS Windows environment and in the use of standard computer software such as, but not limited to, MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
- Extensive experience in tracking and analysis of information and monitoring suspenses and deliverables.
- Complete any required training to meet agency requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
Preferred
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and working with people in a fast-paced information centric environment. Be able to adapt to emergent changes in policies and requirements.
- Exemplary customer service/personnel interaction skills.
- This individual should be readily available to meet the demanding needs and flexing schedules of Senior Executive Staff.
