Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division-Phantom Works is seeking an Air Vehicle Subsystems Strength Engineering Manager for advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO

Position Responsibilities:

• Management of the activities of employees performing model-based aircraft subsystems development, design, performance modeling and analysis with a strong emphasis on structural/strength analysis.

• Management of the strength team supporting the engineering release of product definition Build-to-Packages detailing the 3D physical instantiation of platform subsystems equipment components, transport elements such as tubing, ducting, wiring, support structures, and mechanical systems, as well as the review of supplier furnished reports and data.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• 5+ years of experience in Model Based Definition (MBD).

• 3+ years of experience in an aircraft structure or subsystems lead engineer or management role.

• Earned Value Management experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Typical summary pay range: $151,300- $204,700
