At CESO, a Staff Surveyor will direct the daily work activities of the field and office staff on projects from start to finish. You will have primary responsibilities that will include:
Primary Responsibilities
- Support other Survey staff both office and field in daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects including drawings, legal descriptions, calculations, research etc.
- Perform basic survey work on a variety of projects
- Perform survey tasks on a variety of projects by completing exhibit drafting, survey calculations, legal descriptions, and other deliverables.
- Gain experience and knowledge in all facets of surveying in both field and office settings including preliminary surveying and construction staking and calculations
- Revises redline mark-ups as directed by others
- Prepare all drawings in compliance with company drawing and CAD standards
- Maintain and support the CAD process by reporting on software, hardware, and printing needs as they arise
- Assist in maintaining project budgets and deadlines
- Maintain current knowledge of software tools and best practices through continuous learning
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Associates Degree in Surveying or related fields; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Deltek.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (as needed)
- Fire extinguisher certificate (as needed)
