We are looking for an Adolescent Health Programs Coordinator to oversee and coordinate key adolescent health initiatives, including sexual risk avoidance education, bullying prevention, and adolescent well-being programming. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.
This position will require travel approximately 2-3 times per month, with round trip mileage between 6.2 and 242 miles.
Only work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Manage federal funding, including funding for grantees
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on Positive Youth Development approaches
- Monitor grantee facilitation and program evaluation
- Complete state and federal reporting requirements
- Engage with federal project officers
- Travel to complete site visit observations
- Collaborate regularly with the MCH adolescent team
- Coordinate and oversee activities related to Title V adolescent health priorities
- Address adolescent well-being and emerging trends such as social media use, screen time, and mental health
- Collaborate with the adolescent health team to create young adult health programming
- Meet with young adult-serving organizations to discuss gaps in services and programming for this population
- Collaborate with the Indiana Youth Advisory Board
- Develop an action plan to inform adolescent and young adult-serving agencies on best practices for supporting their priority populations
- Work with stakeholders to determine current and arising needs of adolescents and young adults

Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
- Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
