Now we are looking into strengthen our forces with a new colleague as Senior Frontend Developer, who will:

• Act as Technical Lead in the team, driven to engage with stakeholders and colleagues

• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using the suitable frontend technologies

• Regularly update and maintain existing codebases, which includes refactoring for improved performance and readability

• Collaborate with the UX team to create aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interfaces

• Be a mentor of the mid and junior developers toward the right solution

• Actively participating in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain code quality

• Ensure that applications are mobile-friendly and work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data services, ensuring that the front-end and back-end communicate effectively

• Familiarity with APIs is advantageous, enabling the individual to make minor adjustments independently. This knowledge will facilitate better understanding and help mitigate delays that might arise from relying solely on the API team

• Contribute in our team to continuously improve and evolve our software and processes

• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including writing unit tests and conducting user interface testing, to ensure that the applications are robust and error-free

• Continuously learn and implement new technologies and trends in the front-end development field to ensure that the Visma Enterprise solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.

• Work closely with various departments, including design, backend development, and product management, to ensure that the overall product vision is achieved and client needs are met.

What would be the background we are looking for?

• Advanced level experience in product development as Frontend

• Extensive knowledge in software development using React and Angular frameworks

• Good understanding of APIs and MS technologies

• Previous experience or knowledge regarding Public Cloud Services – AWS ( Azure and GCP are considered as well)

• Excellent English communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork and the sharing of knowledge

• Proactively engaging and communicative, curious with a strong drive to interact with stakeholders, eager to share ideas and provide constructive feedback, team player

• Should have demonstrated experience in working with Scrum framework, including a solid understanding of its principles, practices, and roles

• Be prepared to take responsibility for leading certain ceremonies, as the role will require jointly managing these duties with the Product Owner in the absence of a Scrum Master
