VP of Talent and Culture Development

Job Description

We are looking for a  

VP of Talent and Culture Development  

to lead YIT’s talent and culture development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent and culture development strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.  

In this role, you will develop and implement our strategic people capabilities and leadership & organizational learning development. You will also have process ownership for talent management. You will work together with our business leaders to ensure continuous learning and professional growth of our employees. We want to be the employer of choice and talent and culture development is an important part of reaching that goal.  

Your key responsibilities: 

• Strategic people capability management: Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic capabilities and competencies that align with our business objectives. 

• Leadership development portfolio: Create a leadership development portfolio with a special focus on executive development and key talent roles. 

• Process ownership for talent management and competence development: Own the talent management process, including succession planning and competence development. 

 
What we expect from you?  

• 10+ years of experience in talent management, leadership development, and/or organizational development, preferably in lead role. 

• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic people capabilities and talent management processes in an international environment. 

• Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.  

• Excellent facilitation and change leadership skills. 

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
