Your purpose at Kertos

You are part of our AI Product Squad in Berlin, which focuses on using AI to push automation and intelligence of our Kertos Platform even further. As the Product Designer on this squad, you'll shape every facet of user interaction, ensuring our product offers intuitive navigation and exceeds user expectations at every touchpoint. What you’ll be doing here:

• Engage in customer discovery to uncover insights and requirements that truly resonate with user needs
• Translate user insights into practical, impactful product features that enhance usability and automate the compliance process
• Design user experiences for AI-powered features—balancing innovation, usability, and ethical transparency to support trust in automation
• Develop and refine design artefacts to test and refine product features, creating experiences that users love
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers to co-own user journeys and ensure technical feasibility aligns with exceptional UX
• Introduce fresh perspectives and your innovative ideas to continually elevate our product's design and functionality but also our design processes

The skills, motivation, and mentality you should bring

• Equipped with a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, you have proven yourself as a Product / UX/UI Designer or in a similar role
• You have confidently guided products from inception to launch, showcasing a solid understanding of user-centered design principles
• You are skilled with design tools like Figma and have hands-on experience with design systems and design processes
• Your excellent communication and collaboration skills make cross-functional collaboration across UI/UX design, product management, and engineering teams not only smooth but enjoyable
• You have an agile mindset, embracing the dynamic nature of working at an early-stage startup

You must be fluent in English and ideally, you're fluent in German and adept at conducting UX research with our German users, guaranteeing their insights play a pivotal role in shaping our product advancements.
