QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Ability to read and follow written directions
- Ability to type at a skill level of 55 words per minute
- Experience in handling confidential information
- Basic knowledge and use of computers
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees, staff and the community
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
JOB GOAL: To assist the Human Resources team in providing services to employees, schools, and the School District.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be familiar with and follow written policies, procedures and directions related to job responsibilities
- Perform responsibilities such as typing, filing, copying and other duties as assigned
- Review and screen certified service applicants
- Maintain certified applicant tracking system
- Post all vacancies
- Advertise for certified vacancies
- Administer job transfer requests
- Process employee certified status changes
- Verify certified employees previous teaching experience and sick days
- Administer contracts
- Verify appropriate certification
- Prepare, disseminate new employment and extra duty contracts
- Conduct Criminal Records Check
- Process Leave of Absence Requests
- Coordinate termination process
- Maintain certified job descriptions
- Determine employee eligibility for status of tenure
- Prepare and distribute annual certified contracts
- Coordinate and document vocational extended time
- Notify principals annually for recommendations on certified employees on limited contract
- Notify principals annually for continuing allocation exchanges for certified employees
- Notify principals annually for extra duty assignment forms
- Notify employees annually regarding salary reductions
- Notify employees annually whose certification expire before next school year
- Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Hourly (Grade 10)
- 7.5 � 8 per day
- 37.5 � 40 per wk.
- 246 days
- 12 months
