WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Chief Marketing Office (CMO) at Pfizer. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the success of our global marketing and medical teams by ensuring the seamless integration of our Medical Legal Review (MLR) product into our Medical and Marketing Creative Automation platform. Your focus will be on documenting business requirements, collaborating with technology teams, and managing workflows to support end-to-end review and registration processes for colleagues and agency partners worldwide.
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with Product and Business leads to document requirements and recommend designs to enable technical development of our Product vision for our MLR application. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to translate business needs to user stories that deliver efficiency and effectiveness while meeting the evolving needs of our marketing and medical teams.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Collaborate with Product, medical and marketing colleagues to understand and document the requirements and processes for reviewing new and reused assets.
Recommend product design features that improve workflows, marketer experience and simplify functionality.
Work with senior product leaders to ensure an integrated user experience across related products, including workflow, DAM, and GenAI.
Document business requirements, technical demands, and process impacts in collaboration with marketing and agency teams.
Proactively identify business needs and innovations, translating them into clear business requirements and roadmaps, and ensure execution in coordination with Digital Group Product Managers.
Work closely with the digital team on the handing off requirements, decision-making, and product delivery within Agile teams, including hands-on solution development with technical and engineering teams.
Partake in product ceremonies with technical and business partners to gather and prioritize outcomes and share progress.
Track engagement with the platform- report and analyze usage trends, and share engagement metrics and insights with marketing and digital leadership to identify opportunities for value delivery.
Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes effective communication between development and business teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
A minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience preferably in the areas of innovation and/or marketing with a proven track record, especially in product development roles covering ideation all the way through to implementation and analysis of learnings.
Experience leading cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery of solutions.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and practices.
Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills.
Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information.
Nice-to-Have
MBA/MS with 2+ years of experience; OR PhD or JD with no prior experience requested.
Proven experience as a product owner, business analyst, or similar role, preferably in pharma or the marketing technology (MarTech) space.
Foundational understanding of MLR process, workflow, and automation.
Experience with agile development methodologies, writing stories and documenting business process.
Understanding of Adobe and Veeva platforms.
