Position Summary/ Department Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Satellite PACU. This position will start in BCH Lexington and transition to BCH Needham upon completion of the ambulatory care building (anticipated to open early 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

• Recovers pediatric patients from surgery/procedure.
• Prepares pediatric patients for surgery on the day of surgery/procedure.
• Develops, implements, and documents education plans for patients and their families.
• Performs developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Working 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with short call requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience.
• PACU/Critical Care/GPU experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with patients 6 weeks in age to 25 years of age preferred.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• PALS Certification preferred.
• ACLS Certification preferred.
