The position
We are on the lookout for more highly skilled Production Engineers with a good understanding of quality and equipment in production, good communication skills and understanding of “the power of teamwork”.
A Production Engineer is a role of vital importance in our highly regulated industry. You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with GxP
- Optimising equipment performance
- Setting the direction to ensure a scientific and risk-based approach to validation, implementation and maintenance of our equipment.
The positions will eventually entail varying travel activities to our contract manufacturing organisations.
More positions are available across the production and packaging departments at our site in Hjørring. Some positions with more focus on quality and some with more focus on equipment. However, common for the positions is to ensure an overall excellent quality level, equipment performance and that equipment and processes meet requirements from Novo Nordisk and the authorities.
You will have a workday with tasks that call for your ability to be self-driven and at the same time, you will have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organisation.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you:
- have a background as engineer, another technical/nature scientific background or pharmacist
- must be able to create changes, set direction and independently drive cross-functional work regardless of your expertise
- have a structured approach to problem-solving and must thrive in a hectic production environment characterised by many deadlines and ever shifting priorities.
Furthermore, it will be an advantage if you have project management/coordinating experience.
In your daily work, you will work together with different stakeholders such as operators, specialists, supporters, technicians and managers. This calls for your ability to communicate clearly and concisely in Danish and English. You should have flair for IT, data analysis and quickly get acquainted with our different systems. You should have knowledge of equipment and an understanding for simplicity.
About the site
You will be part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in eight departments and with app. 475 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
