Job Summary
For the Department of Engineering Leadership and Society, Drexel University, College of Engineering - Philadelphia, PA, develop and teach industry relevant graduate and undergraduate courses in systems, leadership, project management, software design and engineering; participate in curriculum development and program accreditation efforts; serve on college committees that maintain and improve the instructional program; participate in professional development; and mentor undergraduate/graduate students. Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in Systems Engineering, Systems and Industrial Engineering or a related field by the start date of employment and record of effective teaching, leadership and service in academia and/or industry. Essential Functions
- Develop and teach industry relevant graduate and undergraduate courses in systems, leadership, project management, software design and engineering.
- Participate in curriculum development and program accreditation efforts.
- Serve on college committees that maintain and improve the instructional program.
- Participate in professional development and mentor undergraduate/graduate students.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of PhD or Doctorate in PhD in Systems Engineering or closely related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching in a class room setting.
