Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines, but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining operational excellence? Caterpillar in Seguin, Texas is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Inventory Reconciliation Accuracy (IRA) team. In this role, you will help ensure inventory accuracy and material integrity throughout the facility by supporting inventory reconciliation activities, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating the movement and verification of parts and materials. Working closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient operations in the production of diesel engines and generators. Additional Information:
- Hourly Compensation Range: $18.50 - $21.50
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Overtime as required

What you will do:
- Operate forklifts and other power equipment to move materials within the facility
- Perform inventory reconciliation activities to identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory verification processes in support of inventory accuracy goals
- Investigate inventory variances and work cross-functionally to determine root causes and corrective actions
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within inventory management systems
- Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
- Report to managers and be assigned to departments within the business to meet customer and company demands
- Occasionally participate in training and development
- Perform any other assigned duties
What you will have:
- Minimum of 2 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English
- General knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint
- Ability to adhere to safety procedures
What would make you a top candidate:
- Previous experience and/or certification in operating tricycles, forklifts, tugger, and/or other power equipment
- Previous experience working in a logistics environment supporting assembly of products
- Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
- Previous experience with inventory management systems, preferably MAMM
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive operations
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
