Product Manager, Industrial

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team. This position will become an integral part of our busy headquarters located Miami Lakes, Florida. Goodyear Belts is a company working closely with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. to manufacturing and distributing automotive, heavy duty, and industrial belts. As the Industrial Product Manager, you will manage all aspects of our industrial product lines (belts, pulleys, hose and more); maintain and develop vendors; forecasting; purchasing; launch new products; help manage marketing programs; establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders by answering questions, providing support, and helping ensure that the customers of Goodyear Belts are completely satisfied with our products and services. This position wears many hats and covers all aspects of a technical manufacturing, purchasing, vendor relations, distribution, marketing, and sales business and is the perfect position for a person with a passion for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Relationship - Sourcing - Global Procurement
• Proficient in selecting and leading strategic vendor relationships or acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships
• Maintain the Goodyear Belts product database
• Product Attributes
• Product Application Catalog
• ERP Integration
• Support Customer Data Requirements
• Product Line Extensions
• Recommending New Products
• Creating and Launching New Items
• Pricing New Products
• Administer New Product Announcements
• Provide Technical Customer Support to Internal and External Customers
• Special Projects as Assigned

Requirements

• Excellent Communication
• High Mechanical and Mathematical Aptitude (an engineer is a plus)
• Proficient User of Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Independent Problem-Solving Capability
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of experience in one of the following:
  • Automotive Aftermarket
  • Industrial Parts Supply
  • Quality Control in a Manufacturing Environment
