About the role

Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to join our mission-driven organization.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical activities and ensuring successful delivery which aligns with Federal cyber security requirements, solution architecture, and Oracle policies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of architecture and engineering requirements within the healthcare space and Federal market.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—both internal stakeholders and client partners—so familiarity with technical architecture, engineering principles, and healthcare data standards is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic design and delivery of enterprise health IT systems.
  • Review technical requirements and facilitate implementation strategies within a federal environment.
  • Engage on technical delivery issues, performing analysis, and making actionable recommendations to ensure timely program delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders across clinical, technical, and product teams to align designs with federal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee architecture documentation, standards, and governance artifacts.
  • Lead and facilitate technical design sessions; contribute to solution design and long-term enterprise technical roadmaps.
  • Support compliance with security, privacy, and federal IT standards (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA).

Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):

  • Bachelor’s plus a minimum of 8 years with technical delivery experience
  • Previous Federal Contracting experience preferred
  • Required travel up to 25%

US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
