Job purpose
We are looking for an ambitious student to join our PHINIA Delphi Steering & Suspension team as a Category Management Intern! This position will provide the right candidate with many opportunities to learn and gain valuable work experience in a rapidly growing product line.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for updating part number information for existing and new numbers, including updating/maintaining master part file
- Research competitor part numbers, pricing, applications, features and benefits
- Conduct market and customer research
- Assist in preparing analysis and presentations for customers and leadership
- Assist in creating and managing Change Requests for new product launches, price changes and obsoleting parts
What we’re looking for
- Must be actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business field
- 6+ months experience with Microsoft Excel, preferably using the V-Lookup formula and Pivot Tables
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in marketing, data analysis or general business
- Demonstrate a high energy, upbeat eagerness to learn about the automotive aftermarket and PHINIA’s culture
- Ability to work independently, multitask, learn from mistakes and implement processes for improvement
- Ability to consolidate multiple data sets into summary reports
- Willingness to collaborate with cross functional global team and share findings
