Job Summary

 

The Lead Staffing Coordinator owns scheduling, time and attendance, and workforce management processes supporting Levy’s game day and event operations at Nationals Park. This role functions as a high impact individual contributor, leading systems accuracy, data integrity, and process excellence to ensure labor readiness and real time attendance visibility.

Reporting to the Director of Staffing, Hospitality Operations, this position partners closely with operations leaders to translate event forecasts into staffing plans, maintain accurate schedules, and deliver a consistent team member experience. Required Experience

  • Minimum of one year of experience leading scheduling and attendance management within retail or food service environments, including big box, multi unit, or sports and entertainment operations
  • Experience operating as an individual contributor who leads scheduling systems, workflows, and technology processes through influence and subject matter expertise

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including building trackers, reports, and dashboards supporting scheduling accuracy and attendance visibility
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet, including creating sheets and using automation features to support workforce workflows
  • Ability to manage schedules within workforce management systems with strong attention to accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Ability to run, interpret, and distribute labor and scheduling reports to support operational decisions

Scheduling and Attendance Leadership Skills

  • Translate event forecasts and operational needs into accurate staffing plans
  • Maintain and update schedules to reflect real time changes including call outs and business fluctuations
  • Provide daily visibility to leaders on staffing status including scheduled, at work, and absent team members
  • Audit schedules and attendance data to ensure consistency,
