We’re seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to lead structured sales processes, drive targeted sales process improvement, and grow internal and customer relationships within a technical, engineering-driven business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at building repeatable sales systems, administering complex accounts, and collaborating across marketing, engineering, sales, supply chain, and operations to deliver measurable revenue growth. This role is central to how we forecast demand, plan production, and support customer and material (SKU) database accuracy.

You will own the processes that connect Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations, ensuring accurate sales forecasts, clear visibility into sales order actuals, and reliable demand signals that support production planning for complex electrical equipment. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote on the Eastern/Central US with occasional travel to Richmond, VA. This role is contributing to the Electrification – Smart Power Circuit Protection Business Area in the US.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales forecasting, pipeline management, and demand planning processes to drive forecast accuracy, business visibility, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer demand, and funnel health to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards while ensuring data integrity across CRM, ERP, and business intelligence systems.
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management to align forecasts, capacity planning, business reviews, and product lifecycle initiatives.
  • Drive process standardization, CRM governance, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Own Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) administration, including performance metrics, territory and crediting logic, payout validation, and reporting transparency.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, forecasting, demand planning, sales enablement, or strategic account management ideally in industrial, electrical, engineering, or mission‑critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Advanced skills with BI tools (Power BI, Snowflake), Excel, SAP, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering in a manufacturing or engineered‑to‑order environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, reporting, and Excel Power Pivot and Power Query.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and operational information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization and/or supporting mission-critical industries (data centers, hospitals, utilities, etc.) preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage concurrent multiple initiatives.
  • Familiarity with various customer go-to-market strategies, such as iRep, Distributor, Valus Added Reller, integrators, and direct/end-user.
  • Strong understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, and power distribution equipment.
  • Familiarity with long‑lead‑time electrical components and supply chain constraints; process‑driven mindset with strong attention to detail, structure, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
