SUMMARY
We are looking for a smart, experienced, and motivated Data Visualization Manager to join our Columbus team.
The Data Visualization Manager is responsible for designing and developing compelling data visualizations solutions to enable actionable insights & facilitate intuitive information consumption for stakeholders. You will work with internal departments to define their analytic requirements and administer their corresponding data environments. You will service clients internally and externally, requiring strong communication skills, the ability to translate technical executions into laymen's terms, and the capacity to translate client needs/requests into actionable solutions. You will be a valued member of the team with the opportunity to shape the way that we collect and share data, influencing processes and efficiency across the agency and its clientele.
This is a hybrid work from home/office position (in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays & Thursdays) and the candidate must live near Columbus, OH.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own data needs for clients and internal teams
- Set up data environments within business intelligence platform, including setting up new data sources, maintaining attributes, and creating datasets for advertising reports
- Collect data requirements from internal teams to assist in the design of a scalable infrastructure to drive decision making using technology and BI tools
- Manage the retrieval, compiling, and formatting of large volumes of data
- Engage frequently with data developer and project management during implementation; be available to quickly answer questions that arise during implementation and to make scope tradeoff decisions.
- Contribute to data visualization future-proofing through annual roadmap planning and collaborate with internal teams and users to understand new opportunities for support
- Learn new technologies as they evolve, and understand their impact to systems
- Manage multiple deliverables with multiple stakeholders and clients in a fast-paced environment simultaneously
- Build relationships across the agency and evangelize data offerings as a centralized tool available to all departments and individuals
- Establish a relationship with internal stakeholders to understand their business need for reporting and data visualization capabilities
- Present and clearly articulate solution options to key stakeholders
- Be a go-to resource with thorough understanding of data structures for various ad platforms
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Data Development, Marketing Data & Analytics, or related field and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in Data Developer or similar Data & Analytics Role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with BI and Analytics Tools
- Experience building and supporting high-performance data models, visualizations, and KPIs for key initiatives
- Experience with data storytelling, data science, or data strategy
- Knowledge of data modeling and entity relationships
