The Solar Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations of the office and is the head manager of the entire location. All team members reporting to this location ultimately report to the Solar Operations Manager including but not limited to site surveyors, permitting department, installers, inspection department, service technicians, warehouse manager and all other ancillary and support personnel in the given location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site surveyors, permitting manager, installers, inspection manager, service warehouse manager and all other ancillary and support personnel in the given location.
  • Manage all aspects and team members involved in all operations in the given location and geography.
  • Work with the team as well as manage and drive KPIs in their location

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience on the operations side of the residential solar industry
  • Have reporting and managerial skills and experience of at least 1 year
  • Experience managing and training in a process-driven environment
  • Detailed understanding and experience of all aspects of residential solar operations especially installation
  • Good leadership, communication and relationship building skills
  • High time management skills for deadlines and driving projects to completion no matter what the challenges may be
  • Focus on system, process, management, leadership and problem solving
  • Working with top leaders in the company to improve systems and processes and drive success of their office
  • Attention to detail and capability of driving top KPIs while simultaneously actively managing the entire team
  • Tech Savvy -Capable of using digital messaging systems, email, text, CRM, etc.

  • 70,000 - $80,000/year + panel pay
