Position: Senior Art Director

What You Will Do:

As a Senior Art Director at Altra, you’ll lead conceptual and visual development for integrated brand and product campaigns across advertising retail, eCommerce, social, and experiential channels. You’ll drive concepting and execution from ideation through production, ensuring creative excellence and brand consistency at every touchpoint. Partnering closely with creative leadership, marketing, and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in helping Altra break through and stand out, shaping the evolution of Altra’s visual identity and elevating our presence in the marketplace. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on maker who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

How You Will Make a Difference:

·        Lead creative development and design execution across all Altra brand needs, including integrated campaigns, eCommerce, social media, video, print, retail and event activations.

·        Partner closely with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to concept and deliver compelling, insight-driven creative that aligns with brand and business objectives.

·        Uphold and elevate the visual identity of the brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.

·        Provide direction and mentorship to junior designers and freelancers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

·        Partner with Creative Director and Associate Creative Director to lead brand and product shoots, including pre- and post-production, working with photographers and directors to bring a strong visual POV through experience on location and in studio environments.

·        Collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative, balancing speed with attention to detail.

·        Bring a challenger mindset to proactively identify opportunities for the brand to break through with fresh thinking in the running category.
