The department is spread out in three business domain teams; where data experts and business collaborate closely to realize valuable data science solutions. Each Data &amp; Analytics domain team consists of an Analytics Translator, Analytics Engineers and Data Scientists, and is supported by Data- &amp; Machine Learning Engineers from IT.</p><p>The department works divided into three business domain teams; where data experts and business experts work closely together to realize valuable data solutions. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you are an important contributor to the Data Foundation authority.</p><p><strong>Your role </strong><br/> As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you know how to translate the wishes of our business stakeholders into the right insights from data. You know your way around the data sources available on our platform and have proactive ideas for additional sources that would serve us better. Together with relevant stakeholders you align and create the necessary data definitions. You are an expert when it comes to data modelling. You know what the pros and cons are of alternative solutions and look for the best approach in each situation. You create relevant datasets and dashboards and coach users on how to make use of them. You are an active member of the data foundation authority; constantly looking for ways to take our data products to a higher level. This can for example be done by aligning with your peers on improved standards, adding new functionalities for end users or sharing new knowledge with all analytics engineers. You convey your enthusiasm about data to the organization. You feel comfortable in a broad stakeholder field. You are analytical, results-orientated and like to work within an agile team. Also you are proactively looking for new solutions and standards to work with.</p><p>Next to this you bring:</p><ul><li>A completed HBO/WO education</li><li>Minimal 7 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Multiple years of experience in an environment with large amounts of data</li><li>Very strong Transact-SQL skills</li><li>Seasoned professional when it comes to Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling</li><li>Strong reporting skills with Microsoft Power BI or similar tools</li><li>Used to working with CICD, testing &amp;
