Position Summary

Join the Application Services team and help us build a fault-resilient, highly available, and customer-centric platform. In this role you will work with the team to build a scalable and secure platform and build customer-facing features that enable security and engineering teams to stop threats in their place! This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is obsessed with customer success, passionate about simplification, and eager to dive deep into technology best practices.

Our services and features are written primarily in Python, Golang, TypeScript and React with a focus on security, scalability, stability and type-first design. Our team develops public REST APIs, solves database scalability challenges, implements data migrations, and enables configuration management across our fleet of services.

The R(x) 360 Platform is built on AWS and GCP.  It utilizes Terraform to define Infrastructure-as-Code and our services.  This platform allows us to build native product and service integrations, first-class customer-facing workflows, and high throughput data pipelines. Our goal is to build a reliable platform for customer-facing services while encouraging healthy work-life balance via automated remediation and fault-tolerant designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services written in Go and Python powering ExtraHop’s products.
• Participate actively in agile development processes, code reviews, and technical strategy discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree requiring systematic/analytical thinking
• Up to 2 years experience
• Solid knowledge of Go, Python, or an equivalent programming language
• Self-starter with a strong problem-solving track record and ability to grow and learn
• Excellent communicator and collaborator who can iterate quickly

The salary range for this role is $1160,000 to $123,000 + Bonus + Benefits
