Inspection Support Specialist

Description

The Inspection Support Specialist is an entry level position who will be responsible for performing and supporting dimensional inspection activities using any necessary inspection equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely dimensional data collection to support quality control processes and maintain compliance with customer requirements. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and manage inspection data and ensure data is readily available for inspectors, minimizing workflow interruptions.
• Operate Vision Measuring Machines (VMMs) to collect required dimensional data.
• Record and enter top-level dimensional data into designated Excel spreadsheets and customer reports.
• Monitor and verify that HQA (High Quality Analysis) data imports are completed.
• Assist with minor inspection work as needed.
• Use basic hand tools to perform simple dimensional checks and support inspection tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Quality Department and company objectives

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to accurately input and manage data.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and standard measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
