About the role

We are Vitesse – the treasury and payment partner of choice for insurance. 

Formed in 2014 by a team of proven FinTech entrepreneurs, we are an FCA-regulated business providing global claim funds management and payment solutions. Operating one of the largest banking and payment settlement networks in the world, we give our customers direct access to 200 countries and currencies. Through a single integration, insurers can use this network to pay claims in as fast as 45 seconds and deliver a superior claimant experience. Our market-leading treasury proposition provides insurers with transparency and control over their claim funds, even when delegated to third-parties, allowing them to have their money in the right place, at the right time, to make that all-important payment when customers need it most.

With over 245 employees across our London headquarters, Europe, and the US, $93m Series C funding secured, our US licence approved and exceeding £10bn in processed transactions, we are only just getting started.

We are looking for a seasoned and results driven leader to oversee our Third Party Administrator growth efforts in the United States. This role demands a deep understanding of the TPA landscape, their operational challenges and how technology, service and financial solutions can deliver significant value to them. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an expert relationship builder, and a proven closer, adept at navigating various sales cycles and engaging C level executives. This position will be based in the United States reporting to the US Executive President.

RESPONSIBILITIES  
 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to identify, target and acquire new TPA clients; deepen those where required within an existing relationship and strengthen linkages with key stakeholders in the Insurance claims ecosystem. 
  • Establish and nurture executive level relationships with key TPA decision makers and influencers including C level executives. Critical to bring a collaborative and consultative approach to TPA stakeholders as we understand their needs. 
  • Identify industry trends, client needs and competitive landscape to inform our strategic product roadmap; Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand TPA business objectives, pain points and existing infrastructure.  
  • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, relationship management, product, and operations to ensure alignment and execution. 
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and onboarding; Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed quotas. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to drive engagement in TPA community and broader insurance ecosystem. 

Requirements

  • A proven track record in Sales with minimum of 20 years of experience. Proven accomplishment in selling complex enterprise SAAS solutions.  
  • Deep domain expertise in the insurance industry, with a heavy focus on TPA operations and management of claim funds. 
  • Leadership experience, directly or indirectly – motivating teams to work to common goals. 
  • Strategic mindset to adopt effective client strategies and account planning. 
  • Can understand complex requirements and business models and articulate solutions in a simple relatable format. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage and delegate multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce for effective client management. 
  • Passion for fintech/scale-ups with the mentality to get your hands dirty!
