As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in patient care, working alongside our healthcare providers to ensure a seamless, efficient, and positive experience for every patient.

 

This full-time position requires 12-hour weekday shifts with a rotating weekend schedule. You will primarily work with one provider, so we seek an adaptable team player who is ready to step in wherever needed.

 

Our clinic operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and we are looking for a candidate who thrives under pressure and excels in multitasking.

 

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

 

Selected Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
• Triage patients as necessary
• Administer vaccines and injections
• Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
• Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
• Administer medications
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
• Maintain proper disinfection protocols
• Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
• Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider

 

Candidates should preferably have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
