Job Title: Physician Assistant – Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.
Perform thorough assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of Emergency Medicine physicians.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR).
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current certification by the NCCPA
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a PA in New York State
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or must obtain upon hire)
Emergency Medicine experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations in emergency or acute care will be considered
