Job Title: Physician Assistant – Emergency Department
Location: Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.

• Perform thorough assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of Emergency Medicine physicians.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR).

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Current certification by the NCCPA

• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a PA in New York State

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or must obtain upon hire)

• Emergency Medicine experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations in emergency or acute care will be considered
